What causes oily hair?
1. Sebaceous glands are more sensitive
Excessive hormone metabolism will stimulate the sebaceous glands to secrete oil. There are two main reasons why sebum secretes a lot of oil.
The first is the natural type, which is what we often refer to as oily hair; the other is caused by acquired lifestyle habits, such as staying up late, which leads to excessive secretion of hormones. So if you work all night, you will become a "big oily head" the next day.
2. Eating habits
Modern people like high-calorie and high-fat foods. Greasy diet will increase the burden on the liver, affect blood circulation and the metabolism of their own nutrients, and eventually cause the sebaceous glands to be stimulated and secrete a lot of oil.
3. Mental factors
Fast-paced life, high-intensity work pressure, etc., affect the endocrine level of the human body in a short time, indirectly leading to the stimulation of sebaceous glands and aggravating the oiliness of the scalp. Because mental factors are closely related to neuronal activity, and sebaceous glands are also affected by nervous system activity.

4. External stimulation
For example, the particles in the haze will irritate your scalp and cause a large amount of oil secretion, or a very irritating shampoo will also affect the hair follicles to secrete oil.
5. Pathological
For example, scalp infection with fungi, folliculitis, acne and other problems will also cause the sebaceous glands to secrete a large amount of oil. These problems can be judged by the naked eye, and you need to go to the dermatology department for treatment.
