What causes hair loss?

What causes hair loss?

(1) Endocrine disorders. Relevant experts pointed out that hair loss is related to the increase in male hormones in the human body. Other scholars have found that many patients with thyroid disease suffer from hair loss, and thus believe that hair loss is related to thyroxine.

(2) Mental and neurological disorders. Some young people suffer from hair loss due to heavy blows or long-term mental stress or depression.

(3) Heredity. 20% of patients with hair loss have a family history. In inheritance, it is dominant in males and recessive in females. This is one of the reasons why more males than females suffer from alopecia.

(4) Immune dysfunction. Clinically, it has been found that people with immune system disorders such as lupus erythematosus and ulcerative colitis are often accompanied by hair loss.
