How to minimize the hazards of hair dyeing?

1. Do an allergy test before dyeing your hair

Hair dyeing has an impact on people's health, and a small number of people will have allergic reactions to hair dyes. For example, after using hair dye, eyelids will be swollen, the skin will be red, and even itchy and unbearable rashes will occur. Only after taking anti-allergic drugs can these abnormalities subside. If you dye your hair in the future, allergic reactions will occur. Therefore, you must do a skin patch test before dyeing your hair, that is, apply the hair dye on a small area on the wrist or behind the ear. If there is no redness, swelling, stinging or other allergic reactions after 24 hours, dye it again.

2. Pay attention to washing your hair before and after dyeing your hair.

Do not wash your hair three days before dyeing to keep your scalp dry. After dyeing your hair, wait 4-6 hours for the hair dye to completely dry before washing your hair. This will not cause allergies and reduce the chance of cancer. After dyeing your hair, wash it several times to avoid leaving hair dye residue on your hair. When washing your hair, be careful not to scratch your scalp to avoid poisoning.

3. Avoid repeated hair dyeing within three months

Because hair dyes contain decolorizing agents, these decolorizing agents can cause damage to the hair cuticles, making them brittle and prone to breakage. If you dye your hair repeatedly within three months, it will cause heavy damage to the hair that has not yet recovered, and the consequences will be disastrous. Limit hair dyeing to twice a year. If you want to maintain the effect of hair dyeing, you can re-dye the new hair growth.
