Don't wash your hair the day before dyeing. The oils secreted by the scalp can protect the scalp very well. They can prevent harmful substances from penetrating into the body through the scalp to a certain extent. Therefore, it is best not to wash your hair or use conditioner the day before dyeing, otherwise it will affect the coloring effect. Do not apply oil a week before dyeing your hair.
Do a skin test before dyeing your hair. Before dyeing your hair, you should apply hair dye on the delicate skin behind your ears or on the inside of your arms and observe it for 2 to 4 days. If no allergic reactions such as erythema, papules, and blisters appear, dye it again.
Apply some lotion around the hairline. Before applying hair dye, you can apply some lotion or Vaseline ointment around the hairline, so that if it gets stained, it will be easier to clean. Before dyeing your hair, you can also remind your hairdresser to apply the hair dye 1 cm away from the hair root to avoid direct contact with the scalp.
